As part of Railcare's ongoing commitment to continual development, participants who completed the company's Business Improvement Training (BIT) programme recently received certificates in recognition of their success at a special company award ceremony.

The BIT course was established by Railcare in April 2008, since which time over 90 members of staff have attended the course. The training is challenging and participants have strengthened relationships and benefitted from the strong team ethos that the course promotes.

Anne-Marie Smith, Training Director at consultants PERA group, commented during the ceremony that the benefits of the programme were 'clear to see when you walk around the site'. The positive results and inclusive nature of the programme were re-enforced by Managing Director, Rob Baxter who side that 'this type of training will help everyone participate in the continuous improvement of Wolverton'.
