Monday the 17th August saw the arrival of the latest member of the Railcare team, a specially ordered dedicated delivery vehicle.

The vehicle was ordered for its versatility, boasting features such as a retractable cover to protect goods during transportation and a Hiab 4 tonne Crane for loading and unloading powerpacks, wheelsets and bogies. A suspension lowering device also enables the vehicle to access sites with height restrictions.

Head of Railcare Service Bob Knowlson can be seen in the photos attached, proudly taking delivery of the vehicle from Ted Chamberlain, Chairman of Chamberlain Transport. Railcare Managing Director Wolverton, Rob Baxter was also at the handover to see in the first of Railcare's dedicated delivery fleet.

This valuable addition to the Spares and Logistics team re-enforces Railcare's commitment to provide Customers with the highest levels of service and delivery.
